Partnership Announcement!

We are pleased to announce that Marriage in Christ is actively working to partner with other ministries and organizations that support strong marriages and family life in Christ. One such organization is the Cana Family Institute. Their Cana Experience is a dynamic opportunity for mothers of young children (birth through 5th grade) who are looking for the next step after the Marriage in Christ Seminar. Through small groups and retreats, mothers journey together, strengthening all relationships in their lives, especially with Christ, their husbands, and their children.

It is our joint hope that those who complete the Cana Experience will become leaders in their parish and school ministries, including being Marriage in Christ host couples.

We are excited to work together to build strong marriages and families for the greater glory of the Lord.

2019 Seminar Kickoff - Eagan, MN

Thirty couples from 25 churches in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis came together on January 5, 2019, to connect and plan for the upcoming Marriage in Christ seminar season. Jean Stolpestad, Director of the Archdiocesan Office of Marriage and Family life encouraged the couples in their ministry. Stolpestad said, "Young couples need Marriage in Christ. You can help them build healthy, happy, holy habits that will launch them into their married life. That's where the culture will begin to change."

New Archdiocesan Deacon to Represent Marriage in Christ!

We are excited to announce that Deacon Jim Reinhardt will serve the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis as the deacon for Marriage in Christ! In his role, Deacon Jim will communicate with the Archdiocesan deacons and priests to raise awareness about the Marriage in Christ seminar and the ministry of building a culture of marriage in our parishes. He and his wife Nadine recently attend the MIC seminar at the Cathedral of St. Paul.

Deacon Jim and Nadine have been blessed with 10 children and 7 grandchildren with number 8 on the way! His day job is working as a QRC (Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant) where he works with individuals who have been injured on the job and are out of work. He was ordained in December of 2017 and is assigned to The Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville. Deacon Reinhardt has been affiliated with the People of Praise since 1979 and a covenant member since 1984.
